All rooms have private balconies allowing you a perfect spot to take in views of the famous Rogue River.This family and budget friendly inn along the bank of the river in the heart of downtown Grants Pass is in the best location to take in what the area has to offer. This is the largest full service hotel on the Rogue River, located right next to the popular Hellgate Jetboat Excursions and Taprock Northwest Grill.Grants Pass and the Rogue River are the heart and soul of Southern Oregon. With so much to see and do, one night may not be enough! Southern Oregon is a popular destination for groups and tours. Ask about pricing and accommodations available for larger parties and tours.
Classically Furnished Rooms And Suites Most With River
The 33-room Lodge at Riverside has Standard, Deluxe, and Junior Rooms as well as a Master Suite. All rooms have pillow-top beds, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and flat-screen TVs, and most have patios or balconies with views of the river. Decor is neutral and wood dominates, with traditional furniture as well as a few nice touches such as wooden trunks in some units and cushioned wicker armchairs with matching ottomans. The Master Suite also has a microwave and a large bathroom with a separate jetted tub and walk-in shower . Overall, the rooms are in good shape, though there have been some complaints of worn furnishings and chemical cleaning smells.

Ample Continental Breakfast Evening Wine Reception Pool Multiple Meeting Venues And Free Wi
Facilities are on the limited side, but the property throws in a few extras, including an evening wine and cheese reception and an ample continental breakfast that’s included in the room rates. The morning spread gets generally good feedback and includes fruit, toast, cereals, and a couple of hot dishes. Guests are on their own for lunch and dinner, but there are restaurants within a few minutes’ walk of the hotel. There’s also a medium-sized outdoor swimming pool open seasonally with a few lounge chairs and some shade, but no whirlpool tub or fitness facilities.
The Lodge also offers three meeting rooms. The Boardroom is the smallest and has a stone fireplace and wooden beams that give it a faux-rustic woodsy feeling. The Oak Room and Oak Room II have vaulted ceilings and seat 60 or 80 guests, respectively. Across the street, the Taprock Events Center seats up to 320 guests theater-style in its three rooms — note that while it’s advertised on the hotel website, it’s managed by an outside company. Parking and Wi-Fi are free, and there’s a computer in the lobby for guest use.

FULL HOT BREAKFAST
Each morning in the Rainbow Room, the lodge starts the day offering a full Breakfast served buffet style, or by custom order on light occupancy days. In addition to timeless classics like biscuits and gravy or sausage and eggs, we offer artisan custom made oatmeal, mode to order waffels with a wide variety of toppings, a variety of fresh seasonal fruits, cereals, bread, granolas, teas, coffee, and juices. AFTERNOON HORS DOEUVRES
Our hors doeuvres are a bit more than an appetizer, a bit less than a full dinner. Every day from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, we offer fresh fruit and veggies, pitas with hummus and other healthful, yummy snacks. Other favorite items include wraps, poppers, soups, and salads. Fridays, we offer fresh baked pizza and salad. We offer unique craft and domestic favorite beers, as well as local Oregon wines for purchase by the glass or bottle to be enjoyed anywhere on the property.

At The South End Of Downtown Grants Pass Overlooking The Rogue River
The Lodge at Riverside is located on the Rogue River, at the south end of downtown Grants Pass. It’s on the opposite side of the river from the large Riverside Park and right across the street from the Taprock Northwest Grill and the Taprock Events Center. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance and a bus stop down the street. The nearest airport is in Medford, a half-hour drive away. It’s a 45-minute drive to Ashland and about an hour and a half by car to Crater Lake National Park. It’s a four-hour drive to Portland, traffic permitting.
The Lodge At Riverside
Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. Business-friendly amenities include desks and phones free local calls are provided . Additionally, rooms include irons/ironing boards and blackout drapes/curtains. Microwaves and hypo-allergenic bedding can be requested. Housekeeping is provided daily.

There are big changes coming to the Event Center. Unfortunately, at this time we are not accepting any bookings for this venue.
However, we encourage you to consider our sister property, the Weasku Inn , which can accommodate gatherings of various sizes. In 1993, Country House Inns purchased the Weasku Inn and began restoring it.The restoration was completed in September 1998. The five rooms in the main lodge were updated, eleven cabins built and an original A-frame cabin remodeled. Our central location is convenient to Hellgate Jetboat Excursions, downtown shopping, Historic G Street and Applegate & Rogue Valley wineries. Day trips to Crater Lake National Park and the Oregon Caves National Monument are easily accessible.
